The pipeline from The Bahamas to Veritas Academy in California is already producing Division I talent for college hoops – there’s a lot to be excited about in the next few years. Javez Coleby and Keitho Johnson, have become rising stars at Veritas Academy and both players have already attracted NCAA Division-I interest. Coleby, a 6’9″ forward, heads into his second year at Veritas and has quickly emerged as one of the most promising big men in his class. He recently picked up an offer from California Berkley. In addition to a pair of offers from Utep, and Cal Riverside. Johnson, a 6’6″ wing heads into his first season at Veritas Academy. He was recently offered by Cal Riverside. The versatile two-way player joined veritas after a brief stint in Statesboro, Georgia. Veritas has built a reputation as a global basketball hub, providing international student-athletes with high-level competition and exposure.  The program competes in the Nike EYBL Scholastic League and has earned invitations to elite tournaments across the United States.  They also recently completed an international tour in China against local programs, and took part in cultural exchanges.
